Care
CLOTHING
Always follow the care label instructions on the garment. Due to the delicate nature of some fabrics/material & design, many of the garments specify to hand-wash and/or have specific instructions on how to care for.
JEWELRY
Any coating on the surface of an object will eventually wear off over time. The rate at which it wears off is determined by a variety of factors including the thickness of the plating, amount of wear and tear and what the surface is exposed to.
Things to avoid to maximize the lifespan and integrity of your dipped jewelry:
-Avoid washing or rubbing the exposed surface with heavy detergents.
-Do not shower with your jewelry on.
-Avoid prolonged exposure to lotions, oils & perfumes.
-Remove your jewelry when going for a swim, as chlorine and salt water can damage it.
-Gently clean with fingers & very mild soap/lukewarm water, rinse thoroughly & dry with a soft cloth.
-Do not “soak” plated or dipped jewelry.
What is rhodium plated jewelry?
Rhodium is a silvery-white, hard, and corrosion-resistant metal from the Platinum family. It is very shiny and reflects up to 80 percent of light. Jewelry plated in rhodium is shinier and more durable than other metals and rhodium plating does not easily scratch, dent, or corrode and retains its luster when cared for properly.
What does Gold or Silver dipped mean?
