From the Boutique to the Beach, Cabo San Lucas and Wish Upon Edition
Share
Hey there, friends!
Currently cruising at 30,000 (ish) feet on my way back to Wisconsin from the sunny shores of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico! I'm so excited to share the highlights of our trip and, of course, which fabulous items from Wish Upon made it into my suitcase!
Before we dive too deep into the vacation vibes, I must give a huge shoutout and thank you to those that made it possible for me to relax knowing everything back home was golden: my rockstar sister, Rene', who held down the fort at Wish Upon, my mother-in-law, Cherri, for taking care of and spoiling our fur babies and my Aunt Linda, who made sure the mail/packages didn't pile up (which is actually quite the feat, lol).
[Ok, back to the vacay]...Let's start with the Wish Upon looks! My absolute favorite ensemble? The Almost Famous Jumpsuit. I rocked this beauty for brunch at the oh-so-chic Acre. Can we just take a moment to appreciate how cute and fun it is? It brought all. the. vibes. and I can’t wait to wear it at least 10x this Spring and Summer. Best yet? It’s currently on sale and there are only a few left so grab while you can!
1. Hacienda Encantada Resort: we stayed at a private, 3 bedroom/4 full bath Villa. It was gorgeous and included a full kitchen, a private, fenced yard complete with a waterfall edge pool, swim up bar area with grill, hot tub, pergola with hammock/fountain pond and fire pit. It was so dreamy and serene whale-watching from our private pool with a cocktail in hand. You were welcome to use any of the resort amenities including several pools, multiple restaurants, coffee shop, Spa, volleyball and pickleball courts etc.) The resort also provided a stretch hummer limo for transportation to and from the resort and a personal Butler for anything you needed 24/7, which was a special treat. I’m not sure what the hotel experience is like as far as the general rooms and the all-inclusive option but would absolutely recommend based on the location, Villas and amenities we utilized.
2. Private Yacht Rental / Cabo Charter Tours – we did a four hour private charter on a magnificent 100ft Yacht named Number Juan (fun fact, it's partially owned by comedian Ron White). We saw whales, dolphins, flying Mantas and swordfish (or some other giant fish with long snout, haha, not exactly sure on that one!) and were able to get close to the Cabo Arch for some great photo ops. The Yacht was stunning (think two Master Suites with private baths, opulent living areas and multiple outdoor spaces to utilize at leisure). The Charter fee included all you can drink premium top shelf liquor, a spectacular lunch (we picked from a large menu in advance of), fruit platter upon arrival and use of the water toys etc. My kind friends had also ordered balloons and a cake to celebrate my birthday that took place a few weeks ago and were even more kind to call it my 40th (wink). There was a professional photographer and drone operator on board that captured the day so we didn’t have to, which made it so relaxing to put down the phones and be present. Overall, 11/10 experience.
3. Restaurants: We didn’t have a “bad” meal the entire vacation in my opinion, but some of my favorites included:
Acre – the drive is interesting (very hilly and on a dirt road) but you end up in a lush forest surrounded by treehouses and nature.
Toro – Contemporary Latin flair with amazing shareable plates and Sushi plus a great wine selection.
Rosanegra – Amazing dinner complete with entertainment throughout (highlight: Sparklers were provided to every guest while Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond blasted and everyone was dancing and having fun)
The Office on the Beach – Super chill brunch spot on the beach with great service!
All in all, it was an unforgettable, amazing vacation and I would 100% recommend Cabo. In fact, I can't wait to go back!
Love and Light,
E
